What is Yoga-Atsu?

WHAT IS YOGA-ATSU?


A new method that blends the healing practices of simple restorative yoga postures with basic shiatsu techniques done with 2 people.


You will learn how to:

  • press on pressure points to help you release tension

  • tune into your partner's breath and needs

  • help your partner's body chi/energy to naturally flow again

  • clear and break down blockages in the body

  • experience the tremendous power of breath work

  • tap into your intuitive healing powers

  • create a deeper connection & intimacy with your partner


WHY DO YOGA-ATSU?

You’ll learn how to be present with your partner by paying close attention to his/her breath while physically using your thumbs, elbows, knuckles, and/or palm pressure to help release tension. You’ll gain awareness of what feels good to your partner as well tap into your own intuitive healing power to give the healing touch your partner needs. While some verbal communication is used to communicate about the level of pressure needed, most of it will be non-verbal communication and you’ll each listen and connect to the other’s breath, feeling for the release of tension, and listen to your own intuition of guiding your partner through a specific posture.



 

WHO CAN DO YOGA-ATSU?

Anyone! You don’t need any knowledge of yoga or shiatsu to enjoy this heart opening and breath relaxing experience! Any person of any age can do it and learn.
